What is the Liftoff Community?
The Liftoff Community is the paid membership of Liftoff with Keith, the startup podcast hosted by Keith Newman. It costs $100 a year in US dollars, billed annually through Substack, and anyone can join. There is no application.
Members get a 30-minute call with Keith every quarter (four a year), one 1-hour go-to-market breakdown of their own company on Zoom, premium posts and exclusive insights, and a seat in the members’ community on Substack, where founders, investors and operators post, comment and share what they know.
It is built for founders looking for capital, growth, partnerships and services; investors tracking markets, operators and deal flow; and the advisors, operators and service providers who help companies grow. The podcast and the newsletter stay free for everyone.

Is this for me if I’m pre-revenue?
Yes. Founders at any stage can join. The calls with Keith are most useful when you bring something specific: a raise, a launch, a go-to-market plan that isn’t working yet.
What’s free and what’s paid?
The podcast and the newsletter are free. The calls with Keith, the GTM Breakdown, premium posts and the members’ community are for paying members.
How do the calls with Keith work?
You get one 30-minute call each quarter, four in a membership year, plus a single 1-hour GTM Breakdown on Zoom. You schedule them with Keith after you join.
Where does the community live?
On Substack. You can read, post and comment on the web, in the Substack app or from your inbox. You don’t need another login or another chat app.
Can service providers pitch members?
No. Advisors and service providers are welcome, and the ones who do well here share what they know. Cold pitches to other members aren’t allowed.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. It’s $10 a month on the same Substack page. The annual plan is $100, which is two months cheaper over a year.
Can I cancel? What about refunds?
You can cancel any time from your Substack account, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. If the community isn’t for you, email keith@liftoffwithkeith.com within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund. The details are in the terms.
